Feather Falls is arguably the most spectacular waterfall in California outside of Yosemite Valley. The snowmelt waters of Fall Creek drop 410 feet almost vertically into a gorge. The only good viewpoint is at the end of the Feather Falls National Recreation Trail, an easy and scenic hike through forest to the canyon rim.
