Cheatham Grove on the Van Duzen River
Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park California
Cheatham Grove is part of Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, but located a few miles west and almost unsigned. It is a real gem, a small alluvial flat grove with an exceptional understory growth of oxalis and ferns. A famous scene in the Star Wars movie "Return of the Jedi" was filmed here.
