This is a Nevada classic, a small well-built town that sprang up to serve mines that have long since closed. Old brick and stone buildings line the main street - Highway 50.

There are basic facilities for the traveler, but nothing fancy here, few brand names. It is a charming and friendly town, a recommended stop if you are traveling the "Loneliest Road".
