Some of the redddest rocks in the Southwest can be seen at Valley of Fire, a fine state park (Nevada's oldest) adjacent to Lake Mead National Recreation Area. In the movie Total Recall (Arnold Schwarzenegger) the scenes supposed to be on Mars were shot here.
